Hi, I’m Tex, and I’m a professional Surf Lifesaving Ironman and Australian champion. Originally from Victoria, I made the move up to the Sunshine Coast with my family for the lifestyle and to pursue my dream of becoming a professional Ironman. After a few years, I decided to make the move down to the Gold Coast, which is the heart of surf lifesaving, to train with the best of the best.
With such a large training load, sometimes training up to three times a day, I noticed that I needed more than just water to perform at the high level of intensity required to cut it with the best. Once I got in contact with Infinit, I haven’t looked back since.
I remember my first session using my self-tailored custom mix that Infinit’s sports nutritionist developed for me. I immediately noticed a real difference in my performance, allowing me to train harder for longer and keep up with my idols.
Six to seven years on, and I’m still with Infinit, having achieved so much in the sport. I’ve made the professional Ironman Series, won an Australian Open Board Race Championship, and been a part of several medal-winning teams at the highest level of our sport.
I believe none of this would be possible without being fuelled and backed by the best! I’m a huge believer in training hard and always putting everything into every session. It’s all about being able to back it up for the next one and perform to the best of your abilities, and a major factor in being able to do that is how you fuel yourself pre-, during, and post-workout.
