Training and racing as a professional triathlete through motherhood - the hardest part, beside sleep deprivation, has been trying to navigate between my strong instinct to put my children first and giving myself the opportunity to see what I am capable of in triathlon. I am currently wrestling with leaving my children for the first time over night. As they are 3 and 5 I thought it would be easy by now but as I have learnt time and time again through parent hood there is no one size fits all.

'Do what you can, with what you have, where you are' has been my guiding philosophy through this period.

Having a strong and reliable team has been absolutely critical. The gratitude I feel on day bases is the highest it has ever been and this seems to carry me through.

My driver is to see what I am capable of! As a mother of 2 children in my late 30's the textbook says I should be finished with Professional sport but I am finding otherwise. I am actually enjoying the sport more than ever and still training and racing at a very high level. I hope this inspires other people to take away any limitations they or 'the norm' puts on them. Hard work and determination can overcome alot more than you think.

I have been using Infinit for a while and it has becoming a staple in my nutrition for recovery, training and racing. When travelling having nutrition on hand critical for training and recovery.

I use a custom blend for racing as I have had alot of issues in the past with my race nutrition. The custom blend has been working great and is so easy to use.
